Ah, Space Invaders remakes. You never fail to repeat endlessly infront of my eyeballs with slight variations in order to seem new and exciting. But what ho - what's this? Not a remake of Space Invaders, but instead a remake of Jeff Minters Atari ROM hack of Space Invaders!

The history goes something like this: Back in the old days there wasn't much do do except play games, then play them again. Some people got bored with this and decided to hack the game. One hacker, Jeff Minters, hacked a version of Space Invaders to replace the alien space ships with lovely animals. Such as Llamas. Good Jeff.

And so, just like that, this remake is a remake of a hacked version of a game. Still confused? Well, let me help you out. Download this and you'll play as a tank man. Shoot the animals which float and move in the air (don't ask how) and collect coins dropped by animals and curries dropped by a flying man (don't ask why) while also shooting kamikaze sheep - which also fly (just don't ask).

Aiding this journey into bizarre realms are beautifully gorgeous graphics coupled with incredibly smooth gameplay making this a wholly delightful - if slightly demented - package. More than worthy of a download.
