Explodin Crapola: Helicopter Cacophony 2

Arcade

Overview

Explodin Crapola: Helicopter Cacophony 2 delivers surprisingly solid arcade action that transcends its deliberately crude title. This free shooter channels nostalgic Spectrum-era energy through its relentless enemy waves and straightforward destruction mechanics. While the experience remains relatively basic, it offers substantial content that provides genuine fun without demanding a financial commitment.

Pure Arcade Chaos

The game embraces its retro inspiration with unapologetic simplicity, casting players as helicopter pilots in a non-stop demolition frenzy. The core appeal lies in its immediate, accessible action where targets flood the screen from all directions. This constant barrage creates satisfying tension as players dodge incoming fire while lining up their own explosive counterattacks. The "blow up everything that moves" philosophy results in cathartic chaos that requires quick reflexes but minimal strategic planning.

Explodin’ Crapola: Helicopter Cacophony is really a clone of many Spectrum games from the 80’s, where you fly a helicopter around and blow up just about everything that moves.

Substantial Content for Free

Surprisingly generous for a free title, the game packs numerous levels that progressively intensify the challenge. Enemy variety and attack patterns evolve throughout the campaign, preventing repetition from setting in too quickly. This volume of content combined with the high-score chasing nature of the gameplay creates legitimate replay value that exceeds expectations for the price point.

Awesome game. This has tons of replay value for a free game.

Explodin’ Crapola: Helicopter Cacophony is not as crude as the title might suggest, but rather it is a fun arcade shooter. Explodin’ Crapola: Helicopter Cacophony is really a clone of many Spectrum games from the 80’s, where you fly a helicopter around and blow up just about everything that moves. There are plenty of levels, and more than plenty opponents, and they will come at you hard and fast. Explodin’ Crapola is an average game, but it is a whole lot better than it’s name.
