Some of the best freeware games out there are the remakes of the classics. They may, in some cases, lack originality but they sure are a great way to bring old memories without downloading illegal roms.
This remake of Out Run beats the original as far as graphics is concerned but really does fall short when it comes to recreating the gameplay that made Out Run great. The bugs in RunOut are definitely the major gameplay killer, its difficult to get into the game without getting frustrated.
All in all RunOut is not a very solid game but fans of Out Run may want to download it for the sake of bringing back old memories.
