Remember Mr. Men Click'em which was reviewed here a while back? Well, the creator of the devilishly difficult Bacteria takes his spin on the style of the aforementioned game.

With variations on click-the-joining-blocks games being fairly prevalent, there should be something which makes a particular version stand out. This one lacks that particular feature, but perhaps by sheer accident, it has another, completely different feature.

Eschewing the typical let-me-help-you features of other, similar games, this one doesn't jiggle or glow to indicate a great combo about to be unleashed. You click somewhere and its gone. At first its surprising, then it becomes obvious how much time you save. The game becomes fast as it turns from logic to arcade. A race to get the highest and cleverest score, using both sections of the mind - the need for speed and the need to be better than other people.

Its a small download and the quirky possibly unintentionally fast paced gameplay really brings something to the game. Although I wouldn't say its as cute as the Mr. Men version, it is the same game, but offers something completely different.
