Awesome gameplay, superb story, easy-to-learn controls, and excellent music. Put that all together, and you have the greatest freeware game ever made!!! Cave Story.
I can't even describe how flowing, flawless, epic and... well, perfect this game is. At first it will seem a bit stupid and old. But give it 20 minutes and this will be the best game you will ever play. If you let it, it can probably rule your life. In a good way of course.
This game is one of the best games I have ever played. It is packed with many different things like Fireballs, Bubblers, Blades and my favorite, Machine Guns. On level three, Machine Gun lets you fly by jumping, looking down and shooting. I give this game a 11 out of 10.
This game is the epitome of platforming. A lovable game. And the end is so hard that is you beat it, YOU ARE A GOOD GAMER. It is the hardest game I have ever played. But one I loved very much. And yes, graphics are stunning for such a small game. Wonderful made game.
Cave Story is easily the best freeware game ever made. Its classic style, unique story, and tounge and cheek humor make it really a spectacle. If this were made for the NES years ago Nintendo would likely be milking this franchise on Wii as much as Mario.
1 word. Amazing. As soon as you download it your amazed. At less than 1mb you'd think the game will be crappy. Until you get started. The retro graphics and awesome game plot are awesome. Old School at it's best. Thank you for creating this game!
I remember the first time I thought about downloading this game and I'm so glad that I downloaded it because this game has changed my perspective on games and I would give this game a 100 out of 10.
