Watson’s Block Game is similar to Tetris, except that you only have straight up and down blocks consisting of different colours and you have to connect the blocks of the same colours.

It’s a Tetris game so the graphics aren’t great, but they’re completely understandable. All you need is blocks. Though if you don’t like the straight square blocks, there’s two other options to choose from.

The game play is quite nice, it’s challenging but not too challenging. Aligning the blocks is difficult especially if you have a nice run of 3 going and you accidentally put one down in the wrong hole, then it’s all ruined. Nevertheless, that’s part of the challenge.

There is no music and only one sound, and there is the option to turn that off. Though the sound is not important and in a game like this, it’s the challenge which keeps you coming back, not the tunes.

This is quite a challenging and difficult game, though in reality it’s very simple. Arcade buffs will definitely enjoy this game, as will most general gamers who like that sort of thing.
