    Beginning not unlike many adventure games, a hero (Nelly) finds herself cast on a quest which she knows little about: It seems only one island is inhabited by the Spoonbeaks and suddenly they've all disappeared. Through careful sleuthing, analysing events and collecting of seemingly random objects, Nelly attempts to solve this mystery.

    As it follows the typical genre conventions - semi-helpful barkeep, drunk with mysterious knowledge, tight-lipped shop owners and an assortment of oddball characters - a certain charm envelops the game. Its not about you and the mystery, but the bizarreness of it all - the puzzles keep things going.

    Speaking of puzzles, most of the time things follow a fairly linear pattern. A few minor hiccups didn't deter me from persevering - usually you just have to talk to someone again. At only one point was I completely stumped, and the solution made me feel silly for not trying it. After acquiring the pass to the other island, things get sidetracked, but again, persevere to find the new narrative and it will begin to make sense again.

    In all, it is a charming little game. It won't take you months to finish - in fact it will take you a day at the most of on-and-off playing. And the light number of characters won't have you scouring around lost for too long. Just remember to re-talk to everyone if you get stuck.
